Thorpe Park,
Early in May the students went on a visit to South East Englands biggest fun park. A crazy fun filled day followed and as you can see from the picture below everyone got very wet on the water slide
External Verifier Visit
Ms. Maggie Rankine visited the school to inspect the Higher National Diploma course and met with the lecturing staff and the students. She was very impressed with the programme and is currently investigating the possibility of making London Hotel School a "centre of excellence" !
Guest Lecture
Ms Teddy Medly and Mr Michael Hewson, Guest Relations Manager and Front Office Manager at the five star Marriott County Hall visited the school and gave an excellent lecture about managing a rooms division department and dealing with guests. Many thanks to them both for a really involving talk
Catering Event
The Food & Beverage class organised two separate events for a TV production company where we prepared and served a lunch for 60 customers. The event went well on both occasions Hopefully we will be organising more events there in the future
Cricket
Several of the boys are very keen cricketers and they have held two matches so far in the local park. The Same team won both times so the losing team is keen to see some new talent join the school to help them with winning the next match.
